With 15 years experience working in the field of assistive & enabling technology within the education, business and health & social care environments providing expert advice, consultancy and improvement support with a passion for Technology Enabled Care Services (TECS), innovation and transformation. He spent 9 years in the Post-16 sector at a residential Independent Specialist College (ISC) based in Gloucestershire and previously at a General Further Education (GFE) provider. Having significant experience in the initial assessment, specification, purchasing, setup, configuration and training of the relevant hardware and software associated with an appropriate assistive technology solution to individuals with a range of physical and learning disabilities aiding access, inclusion and independence. Andrew now offers information and guidance to schools, colleges, Government and public sector, social enterprises and businesses across the country, helping them make strategic purchasing decisions, as well as providing training for a range of software and hardware solutions. Andrew is proud to be a member of the British Assistive Technology Association (BATA) and the Association for the Advancement of Assistive Technology in Europe (AAATE). Andrew holds a current BPSS (Government Baseline Personnel Security Standard), Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) and Standard Disclosure Scotland.
