BATA has achieved a lot in 2016 but 2017 and beyond looks even more exciting as we see the following aims develop:-
- Qualifications and Accreditation ” their are established accreditation for learning technologists but NONE for Assistive Technologists” Sal Cooke, OBE , BETT 2017. We want to see the setting up of the BATA Mark whereby we can ratify and accredit professionals to an acceptable standard
- Training – launch of the YouTiube channel dedicated to showing how the technology is used by client
- Increase Membership – we are stronger together than separate and we have a range of membership pathways that suit your situation.
- PartnerUp – working with organisations who share the same aims to empower individuals through the use of Assistive Technology
