Disabled Living Foundation wants to work with BATA members

27 July 2020

The Disabled Living Foundation (DLF) is keen to have more BATA members’ products and services listed on its central database, which provides information to a number of DLF’s services.

Living Made Easy is Europe's largest online comparison site for assistive technology. It is used predominately by disabled adults and children, older people, their families and carers who are looking for equipment to make everyday tasks easier. DLF also runs Youreable Forum for disabled users, DLF for Professionals involved in health, housing and social care, and AskSARA, an advice service.

In total the sites attract some 2m visitors per year and are consistently ranked in the top five in Google. Listing on these services is free and, once registered, suppliers can add new products or update their listings via a self-service portal. Suppliers are also able to list themselves as suppliers of products already on the database. For further information you can download an information sheet here.

DLF is also open open to working with suppliers of AT willing to help review and develop its advice – this includes factsheets, advice articles and AskSARA. Living Made Easy is currently being redesigned as are the underlying databases so that DLF is now able to provide API feeds for incorporation into portals.
