Assistive Technology and Access to Work provide disabled workers the means to have employment. Access to Work gives the employer the funding to provide the necessary adjustments to enable the disabled employee to work. The challenge is that more employers need to know about this. BATA is committed to helping get that message out to employers. Assessors provide the assessment of what is needed which is often special seating as well as alternative means of access to a computer or laptop.

BATA would like more assessors and employers to join BATA. We have an AT in the Workplace Special Interest Group for discussion and promoting the tools necessary for giving good access to work. So get in touch with BATA and see what we can do to help you.
